GHOST RECON

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon (also known as simply Ghost Recon) is a tactical shooter video game created by Tom Clancy. The game was developed by Red Storm Entertainment, a Ubisoft subsidiary, and published by Ubisoft in 2001 for the PC; it was later ported to the Mac, PlayStation 2 and Xbox in 2002 and to the GameCube in 2003. A port for N-Gage and Game Boy Advance was planned, but was canceled. Unlike Clancy's other tactical shooter series, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon is not based on any of his books. In a 2006 interview with the New York Times, Clancy suggested that the plot for the original Ghost Recon was inspired by a "letter" he had received from a CIA "official." When asked to provide more detail about the "letter," Clancy refused to comment further. Being released in 2001, the game gained notoriety when it predicted many of the events of the 2008 South Ossetian War, between Russia and Georgia.

Ghost Recon's success has spawned 2 expansion packs, Desert Siege and Island Thunder, as well as numerous sequels for video game consoles and the PC. Ghost Recon's soundtrack is composed by Bill Brown.

Kazuya Mishima

Kazuya Mishima is a character in the Tekken series. Kazuya has been featured in Tekken, Tekken 2, Tekken Tag Tournament, Tekken 4, Tekken 5, and Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. Also, Kazuya has been confirmed to be in Tekken 6 and Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion.

Kazuya Mishima is the son of Heihachi Mishima, and the grandson of Jinpachi Mishima. He is also the father of Jin Kazama and occasional partner of Jun Kazama (they share an awkward relationship, in which was never fully explained by Namco themselves). He also has an adopted brother named Lee Chaolan, who Kazuya has never liked and shares a rivalry with.

It also appears that when Kazuya was a child, he had a special bond with his grandfather. He respected Jinpachi more than his father. It is also assumed that Jinpachi could have been responsible for the original form of the Devil Gene. It appears that only this Gene is passed down through Grandsons, in this case Kazuya Mishima, and Jin Kazama, Jinpachi's great grandson. Heihachi cannot attain the Devil Gene if this is true, but overall he is supposedly as strong as the ones that have the Devil Gene, which is quite possible, considering the extreme amounts of physical damage he has survived in the past. Due to genetics it could be assumed that Heihachi is a 'black sheep' of sorts, in that the gene for devil control skipped a generation, such as the genetics for black colored sheep do.

When Kazuya's name is written in Japanese, it's translated as 三島 一八(Mishima Kazuya) or みしま かずや(Mishima Kazuya)

Kazuya got 八(hachi or pachi or ya) from 平八(Heihachi) of a name of father and followed 一(ichi or kazu) which meant a beginning because it was the eldest son. The notation that 一八 is rare in Japan. Two numbers continue. 一 is 1. 八 is 8. However, his name is also an anagram of the word "Yakuza" with regard to English lettering, which befits his personality and choice of dress.

Jin Kazama

Jin Kazama is the current protagonist of the Tekken series, and has been featured in every Tekken game since his creation, as well as in Tekken: The Motion Picture. He is also set to be the main protagonist in the 2009 release film simply entitled, "Tekken". Jin is also featured in Namco X Capcom, where he teams up with Ryu (from the Street Fighter series) and Taki (from the Soul series). In this game, Jin wants to defeat Devil.

Jin Kazama is the son of Jun Kazama and Kazuya Mishima. InTekken 5, it is revealed that Jin has a cousin, Asuka Kazama. However, they don't seem to be aware of their relationship. During The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2 (which is the setting of the game Tekken 2), Kazuya and Jun crossed paths and were intimate. Jun found herself pregnant with Jin immediately afterwards. The Devil that possessed Kazuya attempted to enter Jin while he was still in his mother's womb, but Jun defeated it. Wishing to raise her son alone, Jun disappeared into a remote mountain location, where she raised Jin and trained him in her Kazama-style self-defense fighting style. After many years, Jun sensed the approaching of a great evil (Ogre) and told Jin that if anything happened to her, that he should seek his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima. Jun's words proved to be prophetic, and some time after Jin's 15th birthday, Jun was attacked by Ogre. Some time later, Jin awoke amongst rubble and searched for his mother, but he could not find her anywhere. Jin swore revenge.
